The energy of this painting seems to spring forth from the dark void in the middle of the almost-but-not-quite- vesica piscis, the sacred geometry of the womb-space. Life pours from void- that infinite potential which has not yet been named. In the beginning there was darkness. We have forgotten collectively that this darkness was also good.
Layers of canyons, constellations, and unique radial perfection of the snowflake- thinner veils than we know separate things we perceive to be so different. The cosmic divide is no division at all.
I once dreamt that I was stargazing and the sky turned into the ocean. The spirit of Ocean in form of a whale tasked me with protecting life on this earth. This piece was born of Springtime gratitude.
